Denton County’s 3rd annual Preparedness Fair is this weekend

Families in Denton County have an opportunity to learn about emergency preparedness at the 3rd Annual Denton County Preparedness Fair on Saturday, September 13. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Denton County Administrative Courthouse, located at 1 Courthouse Drive, Denton, TX 76208.

The fair will feature a variety of activities and resources aimed at helping residents stay safe during emergencies. Attendees can:

  • Explore emergency vehicles and equipment
  • Meet local first responders
  • Visit informational booths with safety tips
  • Participate in hands-on activities for all ages
  • Enjoy contests, giveaways, and the CoServ Snackin’ Wagon

The event is free and open to the public, and organizers say it is suitable for both people new to emergency preparedness and those with experience.

Local agencies helping with the event include the Oak Point Police Department, Flower Mound Fire Department, and PHI Air Medical Denton.

No registration is required to attend. Residents are encouraged to bring the whole family for a day of education, hands-on experiences, and community engagement.
