Thur., Aug. 14 Update: According to a Facebook post from the Town of Northlake, the FM 1171 bridge over I-35W has reopened.
The bridge closed Friday when an 18-wheeler traveling on I-35W hit the bridge. It reopened temporarily, but was closed again on Monday so crews could make the repairs.
According to TxDOT, crews completed repairs on the bridge on Wednesday. They initially anticipated the bridge being closed until Monday so the repairs could cure.
