Roanoke Public Library to host end of summer party

Families across the area are invited to wrap up the summer at the Roanoke Public Library’s End of Summer Party, happening Saturday, August 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the library’s meeting room.

This all-ages event is the perfect way to beat the heat and celebrate the end of summer. Guests can enjoy live music by children’s performer Andy Mason, dive into a variety of arts and crafts, play interactive games, and snack on some tasty treats.

In addition to the festivities, this will be the final opportunity for kids to pick up their summer reading prizes, so be sure to bring your reading logs!

The library’s End of Summer Party is free and open to the public — no registration required.
