Iconic Texas grocery store H-E-B has moved one step closer to building another new store in our area.
After opening a location in Alliance and announcing plans for a store off I-35 in Robson Ranch, the chain has reportedly purchased almost 23 acres for a possible store off Hwy 377 between Roanoke and Argyle.
The land is located in the upcoming Furst Ranch development, on the Flower Mound side of 377, just north of Cross Timbers Road (FM 1171). The store will be located east of Canyon Falls.

According to a report from The Dallas Morning News, H-E-B bought the land about a month ago, and the company has not made final construction plans for the store. The article says that infrastructure work on the development (which will include thousands of homes) will start in October with a completion date slated for April of next year.
